ランチをデリバリーするスタートアップはDoorDashをはじめとしてかなりの数が出てきているが、The Town Kitchenはその名の通り、地域コミュニティにフォーカスしたフードデリバリーサービスだ。
サービス自体は近隣のレストランからのランチをデリバリーするという何の変哲もないものだが、コミュニティにフォーカスしているという理念通り、地域の低所得の若者の雇用を創出し、大学の授業を受講することも可能にしているとのことだ。
